The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding two crimes that occurred just off-island recently, involving the theft of boat motors and an enclosed trailer.
Between November 12 and November 13, the two individuals shown in these photos were observed on surveillance video entering Abel’s Marine, located at 7341 Sawyer Circle, and on the property of Galloway Roofing located at 7253 Gasparilla Road in Port Charlotte.
While on Abel’s Marine property, the subjects were observed stealing a white F350 truck (recovered on November 20) along with three Yamaha lower units, two Yamaha 300 hp outboard motors, a Yamaha 150 hp outboard motor, a Yamaha 40 hp outboard motor and a Yamaha 25 hp outboard motor.
While on Galloway Roofing property, the subjects were observed on surveillance video stealing a 2016 Express enclosed trailer, which was then used to facilitate the theft of the Yamaha motors and lower units. This crime may be related to other crimes that have occurred in the county.
If you are able to identify the two pictured subjects or if you have any further information relating to the crimes, please forward any/all information to Detective Sadler at (941) 639-2101.
