Creighton L. Sherman, 90, of Marshall, Mich. (formerly of Boca Grande) passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017.      He was born on January 31, 1926. Creighton L. Sherman, 90, of Marshall, Mich. (formerly of Boca Grande) passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017.     
He was born on January 31, 1926.
Mr.Sherman was the first executive director of the Gasparilla Island Conservation and Improvement Association, and was an island resident for many years.
Family will greet friends from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 at the Kempf Family Funeral Home Marshall Chapel. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Marshall First Presbyterian Church, 200 West Mansion Street, Marshall, Mich. Family will gather with friends following the services in the church fellowship hall. Interment will follow the gathering at Ceresco Cemetery.
The family requests memorial contributions go to the First Presbyterian Church of Marshall, Mich.
