This winter, there are a number of new flights serving the area from our local Punta Gorda, Fort Myers and Sarasota airports. This week, JetBlue began serving the route from Fort Myers to Worcester, Mass. (ORH) weekly starting Jan. 4, 2024.

Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) also has new service to the following destinations:

• Toronto, Canada (YYZ) with Lynx Air weekly, which began Dec. 1, 2023
• San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) with Spirit Airlines four flights weekly, which began Dec. 15, 2023
