Local man arrested for grand theft, burglary, damage to property

■ STAFF REPORT An island man was arrested by local deputies recently, after being charged with the burglary of a Gasparilla Island home and damage to property. According to reports issued by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the complainant called on Saturday, June 4 to report a burglary in the 4000 block of Shore Lane.
