Diana Dempsey Toney, 76, of Wayne, died Saturday 23, 2016 at Delnor Glen St. Charles. She was born May 23, 1939 in Riverside, Il., the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy Hahn Dempsey.

Peter, Paul & Mary tribute band to perform February 4 at Community Center

A Band Called Honalee, a Peter, Paul & Mary tribute band, will be performing at the Boca Grande Community Center on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The band consists of Sarah Randall Hunt (vocals), Eli Zoller (vocals, guitar), Sam Sherwood (vocals, guitar) and Kris Rogers (bass).

TIS Chowder Dinner raises more than $6,000 for school PTO

The Island School’s second annual Chowder Dinner raised more than $6,000 for the school’s Parent/Teacher Organization on Saturday, Jan. 23, with approximately 200 people attending.
