OBITUARY: Lara Loughlin
Lara Loughlin passed away on Aug. 28, 2021 at the age of 27 years old. She was a mother-to-be, with her baby boy Alan to be born in February of 2022.
Lara was born in New York City, and was raised in New York until she was nine years old where her and her family moved to Dorset, Vermont. She spent 10 years in the countryside of Dorset, Vermont with her older sister Melissa Loughlin Jr. and her mother Melissa Loughlin Sr. Her grandmother Carol Colin also lived in Vermont, but she had a home in Boca Grande where Lara spent a lot of time with her and her family.
She studied at the University of Vermont with her older sister and was studying to be a nurse and was passionate about political science.
Lara was extremely loving, charismatic, tenacious and touched everyone she was in contact with.
A celebration of Lara’s life was held on her favorite island by her favorite beach on September 1, 2021.
