Allegiant this week began service from Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) to Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Washington D.C. The company is offering one-way fares on the new routes as low as $38.
“Following great travel demand, we are thrilled to expand our service at PGD and offer affordable travel options to the community,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer, in a press release.
The new flights will operate twice weekly. Currently the flights are Sundays and Thursdays.
