Call Lee Dispatch

For island residents who need response from the sheriff’s office in Lee County, there are two avenues. If there is an emergency, of course call 911. However, for other non-emergency items, such as parking or general issues that need a deputy, call the main dispatch number at (239) 477-1000. 

Lt. Mike Sawicki said that there is not a delay between the dispatch and the 911, they are just different types of calls. There is no longer a local office number for the department, but all calls go through Lee County’s emergency center.

He says to be patient as they take information; there is a detailed process the dispatcher needs to go through to ensure that the information is taken properly.
