Visitor loses ring worth 100K

sheriff star copyFinders keepers, losers weepers, indeed. According to a report provided by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, a visitor to the island lost a ring worth $100,000 during her stay.
The report states that sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint on Friday, June 19 lodged by a woman who had lost a ring during the evening of June 11 in downtown Boca Grande.
The report states that the victim lost the ring “sometime during the night,” during which she had been to a restaurant downtown and then returned to her hotel.
The ring is 14 kt. gold with three diamonds, the largest of which is just over 4 carats. The estimated value of the ring, according to the report, is $100,000.
