Pit bull attacks golden retriever on beach; family hurt in rescue

On Sunday, near 14th Street, an unknown pit bull attacked an island golden retriever. The dog was rebuffed by an 18-year-old girl and her father, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Department Report.
