We sat down with Bradley Ruhmann, marketing director for Crews Holding Company and the banks attached to it. He said he understood that the comfort level of many who have a vested interest in the health of our financial institutions has been rocked but comparing local banks to banks like SVC or Signature isn’t just like comparing apples to oranges … he said they’re in entirely different universes.

Art After Dark is a sensory celebration that the J.McLaughlin store will be hosting the evening of March 30. This is the second such program the store has sponsored, using its outside wall as a canvas to display iconic photographic work. This time the artist is Susan Wood, world famous photographer to the stars of movies, music, fashion and politics, as well as a highly skilled photojournalist capturing down-to-earth happenings. 

Madi loves to cook and bake, and is quite good at it, according to her mother, Dana, as well as others who have had the good fortune to be recipients of her culinary generosity. Madi’s reputation as a great cook and a wonderful young person gained public recognition during the COVID pandemic, when she wasn’t even a teenager yet.
