Resident reports theft of fishing poles from car port

On Thursday, March 30 Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of the theft of three fishing rods from the victim’s residence.
According to reports, the victim told sheriff’s deputies he kept the rods next to the stairs in the car port under his condominium. He told the deputy the rods were there that morning but were missing just after noon, when he looked again.
Two of the poles were black 7-foot Shakespeare Ugly Sticks with Shimano Stradic 4000 reels. One reel was gold, the other silver. The third pole was a green 8-foot TFO BVK fly rod with a gold Tibor Everglades reel. The reel is gold and has a name plate on it. The total value of the three poles is $1,850.
