To the Editor:

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

To everyone who watched Spark Boca Grande TV’s Livestream Comedy reading of “His Second Act” on May 2, we’d like to say “Thank you.”

Thank you for your patience with our technical glitches. Thank you for your comments. Thank you for your time.

Our first livestream was a journey into the unknown. No one connected with the show knew what to expect.

Just days earlier, a Sondheim livestream was delayed for over 90 minutes due to technical difficulties – and they had a professional crew working with them. We had our cast and writer, plus Lucas Ponte, a tech wizard/engineering student, who is 21 years of age. And we had great hopes that our friends and families would forgive any issues.

You did. You let us know that our first livestream production was worth every second of angst, because it gave us all something fun to focus on. Together.

So far, over 250 computers, tablets and cell phones have tuned in to watch. Some people saw it live. Other people saw it later as a video on Spark’s YouTube channel.

To all of you, we say thank you.

To the Boca Beacon, we also say thank you. Your support, your articles and your interview stirred up interest in our comedic adventure. Olivia Cameron’s interview was a terrific experience for everyone in the cast, giving us insight into each other’s characterization.

As of today, Spark Boca Grande TV on YouTube has over 5,700 views. It wouldn’t have happened without you.

Thank you.
