About 15 kids participated in the youth fishing tournament on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Boca Grande Fishing Pier. The Boca Beacon teamed up with Lee County Parks and Recreation staff to host the last tournament of 2016. A total of five fish were caught. Lily Vacopoulos won the trophy for the biggest fish caught. Lewis William Morgan, Sr., 78 of Englewood passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at Tidewell Hospice in Englewood. He was born on September 18, 1937 in Guyton, Georgia.
