STAFF REPORT – If you haven’t had a chance yet this season to stop by and shop at Boca Bargains, you can draw a sigh of relief. The ladies of the Boca Grande Woman’s Club have announced they will keep the store open through May, by appointment only.

A maximum of six shoppers will be allowed in the store at 45-minute intervals. Customers and sales volunteers must wear face masks and maintain a safe social distance. Temperatures will be taken before entering the store, and hand sanitizer will be used.

To view featured items for sale go to bocagrandewomansclub.org/bocabargains/. To make an appointment, call Candy at (813) 601-2759. No donations are being accepted from the public at this time. Please do not leave items outside the building.

Proceeds from Boca Bargains sales benefit the Scholarship Fund and Community Grant program of the Boca Grande Woman’s Club. The store is staffed exclusively by volunteers, and all merchandise is donated.

The Woman’s Club is very appreciative of the long hours put in by our volunteers as well as the patronage of the entire community, especially during this unusual year.

Boca Bargains hopes to return to a normal schedule next fall.
