Lee appraiser releases 2025 tax roll values

July 2, 2025
By Staff Report

Lee County Property Appraiser Matt Caldwell has released the July 1 tax roll values. The release of the tax roll values starts the process that allows jurisdictions and other taxing authorities to hold public hearings and set proposed ad valorem tax rates that will apply to property in Lee County.

Caldwell reminds everyone that the Property Appraiser’s Office will send out individual Notices of Proposed Property Taxes (TRIM Notices) in mid-August once the proposed tax rates are set.

Currently, the total market value of all property in Lee County increased very slightly (0.24 percent) from 2024 to 2025. The value of new construction dropped, however. But the total taxable value increased around eight percent, due to new construction and market changes.
