Gasparilla Inn considers tenant for Railroad Plaza

The Gasparilla Inn is considering a number of retailers for their retail location at Railroad Plaza after the recent closing of The Royal Paw Grooming.
“Obviously being retail space there are a lot of people interested in it,” said Brent Cross, the hotel’s president and general manager. “I’ve gotten numerous emails for that spot.”
The shopping center is owned by Sharp Plaza LLC. and was formerly owned by Bayne Stevenson Enterprises LLC.
Cross said that they are currently doing “due diligence” on what will go back in the spot, and why.
Current tenants at the shopping center include Boo Gemes, Sun Porch and Sister’s Restaurant.
The shopping center is listed on county records as opening in 1985.
