The King Fisher Fleet tour boat line has returned for her Saturday jaunts from Punta Gorda to Boca Grande. The vessels Charlotte Lady, Helen M, and Miss Elissa (the new fast catamaran) are here every Saturday through April 26.

“We are still working on the speed and performance of the new cat and have not yet been able to offer any of our island trips in the shorter footprint that we had hoped,” said General Manager Elissa Allen.

The star of the show is the John Deere-powered Miss Elissa, a catamaran built just over year by Scarano Shipbuilding in New York; she leaves from Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda for Boca Grande at 9:30 a.m. and returns at around 5 p.m.

They arrive at Boca Grande Marina around 11:45 a.m. and stay until 2:45 p.m. The trips are $59 for adults, $49 for children.

The line also offers trips to Cabbage Key and a Peace River Nature Cruise.
