Marine traffic warning: Emergency electrical repairs will close Gasparilla Swing Bridge beginning Sunday

 The Boca Grande Swing Bridge will be inoperable to BOAT TRAFFIC from Sunday November 9^th at 11 p.m. until Wednesday November 12^th at 11 p.m. to perform emergency electrical repairs.

That official news from the Gasparilla Island Bridge Authority.

Currently, the road bridge causeway islands shoulders and bridge are also undergoing hardening to prevent further damage during any future hurricane, but road traffic is still moving without delay.
