After a series of deadly tornadoes that hit the state of Kentucky last week, Joan Schmidt and Martha Shilett wanted to take action.

“Oh my! How can we not?” explained Joan. “We’re just two retired ladies with a quick last-minute idea and praying for the best.”

Joan and Martha decided to collect donations for the tornado victims in Kentucky. “We hope to fill a couple of enclosed trailers,” explained Joan. “We will be collecting up to January 4 to the 6, and we hope to make two trips to Kentucky.”

“Those families Have lost everything. Things we take advantage of every morning when we wake up. How blessed we are, and we want to help in any small way we can. Please help us help these families.”
