Friends Organization Health and Safety Protocols
To the Editor:
The Friends of Boca Grande Community Center is ready to welcome you back to the island with a plethora of programming. We have begun selling tickets to the full capacity of our venues and social distancing is no longer in place. While we know there is no guarantee against exposure to COVID, we are working to reduce the risk at our ticketed events and we have revised our protocol in an effort to provide a safer environment for our audience.
If you have purchased or are planning to purchase tickets to any of our programs this year, the following protocol will be in place for each event.
All patrons aged 12 and older attending a ticketed program indoors must show either:
A negative COVID test administered by a medical provider/official testing center no earlier than 72 hours before the time of their performance OR
If patrons prefer, they may voluntarily show or pre-register their vaccination status in place of a negative COVID test
All patrons age 2 and up, regardless of vaccination or testing status, are strongly encouraged to wear masks over their nose and mouth at all times while inside the venue.
Protocols will be revisited and may be revised based on CDC guidance and the evolving circumstances of the pandemic.
If you give your tickets to friends or family, please call the office to update the registrant names, and ensure that they are aware of the above safety protocol.
Please keep this policy in mind when purchasing your tickets and plan for the necessary requirements. If for any reason you are unable to meet this criteria, you can still participate in our programs via livestream, or you may receive a full refund for your tickets.
For questions, please contact the Friends office at (941) 964-0827.
We sincerely thank you for your support,
See you soon!
