Farmer’s Market returns to Boca Grande Dec. 15

December 8, 2023
By Staff Report

The Boca Grande Farmer’s Market will return Friday, Dec. 15 for the 2023-24 season. Due to the market location being used for a Hurricane Ian debris site, the county was unable to permit it to open last season.

Organizers have been busy lining up a list of vendors which now includes some local artists and crafters under a new Lee County ordinance.

Put the Farmer’s Market on your calendar for every Friday starting December 15.

The list of vendors includes: Angelic Desserts, Aux Delices French Bakery, Blue Pagoda Orchids, Bush Dogs Crab cakes, Butcher’s Gourmet, Chef Mazzotta, Daily Delice, Dominga Flowers and Plants, Dusty’s Produce, Fouta Spa, Gibbous Fern Candles, Herb Bque, HoliCow hand-blocked printed and made clothing, House of Nutz, Jamie’s Jams, Jimmy Java, Kokokahn, La Montagne Cheese, Laurie’s Pantry Granola, Ernesto and Luigi Italian foods, Madagascar Hats, Mediterranean Delight, Micros Gourmet Greens, Moto’s Munchies, Mr. Fun Guy, Naples Artsy, Naturally Healthy Juices and Smoothies, Pilar’s Empanadas, The Pasta Machine, Queenie’s Tin Fish, Twila Mae Chicken Salad, Venus Organic Veggies, Stamper Cheese, Pecan Farmer, New York City BAgels, Greek Triangles, Lofra Asian Cuisine, Sage and Indigo Juices.

Sadly, Island Seafood (turquoise seafood truck) from Pine Island, which has been participating in the market since the start, was hit hard by Hurricane Ian and is unable to return.

If any island nonprofit is interested in participating, reach out to BetsyFVentura@gmail.com or JMBaer@comcast.net to get on the calendar.
