Catrina was honored to be a national YoungArts Finalist (top 20 new artists out of more than 12,000 applicants). She was also a recipient of a national scholastic art award, which she received at Carnegie Hall.
Each year, YoungArts receives more than 11,000 applications from the nation’s most talented young artists (15-18 year old or grades 10-12) from around the country. From this pool, approximately 800 winners are selected through a blind adjudication process and are recognized for their outstanding work and accomplishments in the literary, visual, design and performing arts fields.
Catrina will be one of ten of the YoungArts finalists shown at The Flomenhaft Gallery in NY.1979534_10153001902379609_8552911862605647247_n11009949_10153456296169609_7689142425148712617_n 11665681_10153456296129609_263764099124720661_n 11733391_10153456431659609_121491402_n
