5th Street Beach Access closed after weekend storms

The 5^th Street Beach Access ramp in Boca Grande is temporarily closed while Lee County Parks & Recreation staff tends to sand-restoration at the bottom of the ramp.

Weekend storms and waves resulted in some erosion. The county told the Beacon today that that the access point is expected to reopen soon. The 5th Street area has three-hour parking access for the public.
