Captiva Cruises Holiday Cruise schedule departing from Cape Haze Marina begins December 21, 2015 – January 2, 2016. Daily cruises include an Island Eco-Expedition to Don Pedro Island State Park at 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and a Dolphin & Wildlife Sunset Cruise from 4:30 – 6 p.m.

The Island Eco-Expedition to Don Pedro Island State Park offers passengers a narrated cruise on Lemon Bay to learn about wildlife and local history as they travel through mangrove islands for great photo opportunities. The expedition includes a two- hour visit to beautiful Don Pedro Island Stare Park, where you can enjoy this remote barrier island beach. The shaded beach pavilion with restrooms is perfect for family picnics. Bring snacks or pack a lunch. Those with a sense of adventure will travel the beach in search of shark’s teeth, which make memorable souvenirs. Our crew will help you identify the different species. Cost: $20 adults, $15 children

Dolphins, eagles, manatees and other marine life can be viewed up close on the Dolphin & Wildlife Sunset Cruise. As the sun dips into the Gulf of Mexico passengers will relax and a spectacular sunset at Stump Pass. Our crew will help you identify and spot birds and other wildlife in the beautiful waters of Lemon Bay. The cost is $25 adults, $15 children.

Don Pedro Island State Park pavilion is a perfect location for any gathering, including beach parties and family gatherings.

Beginning January 4, Captiva Cruises will offer the Island Eco-Expedition to Don Pedro Island State Park and the Dolphin & Wildlife Sunset Cruise on Tuesdays and Saturdays (9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 1 – 4 p.m., 4:30 – 6 p.m.).
