Gather ye spoons while ye may, for The Island School has announced that its second annual chowder dinner will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Crowninshield Community House.
The dinner is a fundraiser for the school’s PTO, which provides valuable services such as funding the school’s yearbooks, providing funds for field trips to places such as Busch Gardens, funding the Friendship Dance and providing teachers with supplies and money for special projects.
