The Island School sets date for Chowder Dinner

The Island School PTO will host its 10th Annual Chowder Dinner on Friday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gasparilla Inn Beach Club.

Guests can enjoy a cash bar, live music by the Green Flash Band, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and the debut of The Island School Giving Tree. Area restaurants and clubs will donate an assortment of soups and chowders, served with salad and desserts.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $5 for children and will be available at the door.

New this year, VIP Golden Spoon Tables are available for presale only through Dec. 20. Each table seats 10 and costs $1,300, including an open bar with private service, a reserved table with private entrance, golden spoons, and unlimited soup, salad and desserts.
