Sharon Lee Mehler, 66, died peacefully in her home on September 1, 2015.
For more than 20 years Sherri was a flight attendant for American Airlines. She was most passionate about gardening, cooking and entertaining. In addition, she was an avid tennis player, needlepointer, Bridge player and enjoyed going to the movies as well as the theater.
The enduring affection and devotion towards her numerous friends was unlimited. Those who knew her will remember Sherri’s vibrant personality, intelligence, sense of humor, and enthusiasm for life. She left an indelible imprint, which will be cherished by all that crossed her path.
Sherri is survived by her husband, Dan Carten of Roxbury, Conn.; her sister, Paula Mehler-Cano; and her mother, Audrey Nelson Simonian of Erie, Pa.
