Christmas cheer can be found in many ways, but one of the best is by taking in the sights of the season through light displays. While we may not have the snow to go with our holiday, Florida can be festive just the same … sometimes even more so. After all, where else can the nativity scene include pink flamingos? Not to mention, how many people get to see the light displays while comfortably wearing shorts and flip flops?

We have three events on the island that warrant a holiday peep – The Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Walk, the lighting of the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse and, of course, the decades-old tradition of lighting the Community Christmas Tree.
