Bonnie Pringle, the Utility Director of the Gasparilla Island Water Association for the past 41 years, has announced her plans to retire in early 2022.

“It is with mixed emotions that the GIWA Board of Directors announces the intention of Bonnie Pringle to retire in early 2022. Bonnie has been an incredible leader and an exemplary employee of this organization throughout her entire career. She has worked hard to build a financially sound, efficiently run, and customer sensitive operation. Bonnie has always been dedicated to providing safe and secure drinking water and efficiently processing domestic and business wastewater for the Gasparilla Island’s population. She will be serving on the Search Committee to solicit, identify, and hire a worthy replacement. Timely updates will be shared with our owner/customers and staff.

The GIWA Board has hired a professional consultant, Laurie Huebner, to assist the Search Committee in the recruiting process. She may be reached at (203) 558-0756. Interested applicants may visit the GIWA website at www.mygiwa.com to learn more about the qualifications of the position and how to apply.”
