Gasparilla Island State Park partially reopens parking area at south end

Gasparilla Island State Park today reopened its parking Dune parking area at the south end of the island at the Boca Grande Lighthouse.

Previously, only the Range Light, Sea Grape and Sea Wall beach access areas had been open.

The Boca Grande Lighthouse at the south end, including its museum, is not open. However, the tall Range Light, which sits mid island, is open to the public during special hours. Follow Barrier Island Parks Society for more information.
