On March 15, 1924, Adolph K. Feinberg incorporated his real estate firm in St. Louis, Missouri. As an early pioneer in the brokerage business, he held Missouri State Real Estate Brokers license number 11.

A recognized expert in downtown St. Louis, Adolph served on the real estate appeals board for the City of St. Louis under five different mayors.

As soon as his sons, Daniel B. and J.Jay Feinberg, graduated from college and obtained their brokers’ licenses, they also joined the family business.

In 1973, J.Jay moved to Long Beach, California, and started the Feinberg Group, Inc., specializing in real estate development. Feinberg built and operated the Queensway Bay Hilton Hotel and Adolph’s Restaurant at the bow of the Queen Mary.

Later he found Boca Grande when he married Cookie Potter. They are currently redeveloping the old Fishery site.

When his father passed away in 1990, Daniel and his wife Susie continued the family business, specializing in properties in the fashionable Central West End of the City of St. Louis.

Now J.Jay’s daughter, Brittany Feinberg, is the third generation of the Feinberg family to obtain her real estate broker’s license.

With 11 years of experience in financing the full range of asset classes, she is establishing a Feinberg Group office in Miami, Florida.

For 100 years, three generations of the Feinberg family have provided service to their communities in real estate brokerage, financing and development.

They have established an enviable record in the real estate industry over the past century.
