The Barrier Island Parks Society, is excited to announce the formal launch of their new website wwBIPS.org. The contemporary website was built with BIPS’ audience in mind, explains Executive Director, Sharon McKenzie. “BIPS’ goal was to create a user-friendly website for people to quickly and easily access information about the organization, their museums and programs, and connect to BIPS’ Mission to inspire the exploration and preservation of our natural & historic treasures.”

BIPS’ Board of Directors invite everyone to visit www.BIPS.org, and learn about the incredible contributions BIPS has been making for the past 32 years through supporting 3 historic sites in Boca Grande, as well as 4 barrier island Florida State Parks in Lee, Sarasota and Charlotte

Counties. People from all over the world visit historic Port Boca Grande Lighthouse & Museum, Gasparilla Island Lighthouse, Amory Memorial Chapel and Cayo Costa, Don Pedro, Gasparilla and Stump Pass State Parks. However, many don’t realize that BIPS is the non-profit organization that preserves and protects these iconic and irreplaceable treasures.

The new website, www.BIPS.org is a quick go-to resource to learn more about Barrier Island Parks Society and to access information in one convenient location. The site can be obtained by QR Code to enhance ease of use.
