New Chophouse285 preview event

A sneak preview of Keith and Laurie Farlow’s new undertaking, Chophouse285 by Farlow’s, located on Dearborn Street in Englewood, was held last week. The restaurant will feature one of Florida’s rare in-house dry-aging rooms and a custom wood-burning grill that serves steaks with unparalleled depth of flavor. Senepol beef, known for exceeding the U.S. national quality average and originating from St. Croix, along with made-in-house pastas and bread will be on display for all to watch through their “windows to the kitchen.” Salvaged from the bourbon-aging “rickhouses,” prohibition-era wood will be implemented into the restaurant’s design, including the bar. They hope to open later this year.
