Preservation Board to review three projects, discuss post-storm issues

The Boca Grande Historic Preservation Board will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at the Boca Grande Community Center to review three proposals, as well as to hold an informal discussion on post storm plan reconsiderations for the Community Center. 

The three special certificate of appropriateness cases to be reviewed are proposed renovations to 1060 10th St. E. Plans submitted, with an sketch at right, are by Konstant Architecture and Planning of Skokie, Ill.

The board will also consider a request to raise existing main house of 231 Park Ave. approximately 4 feet above its current elevation to avoid future flooding; and a proposal to replace flat roof with low-angle roof at 1140 11th St. W.
