2025 Florida International Air Show set for Punta Gorda Airport Nov. 1-2

The weekend of November 1-2, the Blue Angels will headline the 2025 Florida International Air Show at the Punta Gorda Airport. The gates open at 9 a.m. and aerial performances begin at 12 p.m. 

The Innovation STEM Pavilion opens at 9 a.m. featuring hands-on exhibits, interactive demos, and local students showcasing cutting-edge technology and aviation-inspired projects. There are over a dozen on-the-ground attractions to explore including an F/A-18 Hornet and a custom built Angry American Mega Truck.

Visitors may bring lawn chairs or reserve a chair online. There will be several food trucks and concessions will be available on the grounds as no outside food or beverage is permitted. Only service animals are permitted on the grounds. Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the airshow grounds.

As for parking accommodations, public parking is available in the purple and grey lots. The yellow lot is designated for vendors and volunteers, and the pink lot is open to both the public and volunteers. The brown lot, located at Florida SouthWestern State College offers handicapped parking spaces.

The planners of the festival are aware that the U.S. government shutdown may affect the possibility that the Blue Angels and F-16 components of the show may not arrive.

“At this moment, Air Show plans are continuing to evolve with the anticipation that the Blue Angels and the F-16 Viper Demo Team performing,” said Denise Dull, president of the Florida International Air Show. “If that should not happen, a contingency plan has been established for additional civilian performers.”
