TIS polishing spoons, getting ready for some chowder

To the Editor:
The time is coming soon for the second annual Island School Chowder Fundraiser, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Crowninshield Community House.
We will be auctioning off items, and many local restaurants will be serving up their finest chowders.
All money raised goes to The Island School PTO.
