Lee County sponsors youth fishing tourney May 18 

Grab your fishing pole and tackle box and come join the family fun at Boca Grande Fishing Pier for the annual youth fishing tournament. This free tournament is open to all youths ages 13 and under on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Bait will be provided by Boca Grande Marina; no lures allowed. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian for this event. This is a catch and release tournament. 

Gasparilla Island is accessed by toll bridge; Lee County DOT transponders do not work on the bridge so bring cash. Bring snacks and water; no refreshments provided.
