By Staff Report

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved DeeAnn Phillips, who passed peacefully with her family by her side on April 20, 2026. DeeAnn was born on October 20, 1938, in Logan, Utah, to Shele and Ione Raymond.

DeeAnn lived a life rooted in creativity, kindness, and connection. She loved her family and community deeply, especially her tennis community, where she gave generously of herself and formed lasting friendships. She helped establish team tennis at the Boca Grande Club, where she was a member for thirty eight years and served as team captain for twenty six years. She had a love of music, dance, and performance, and brought joy and expression into every space she entered.

DeeAnn is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John Phillips; her children Jeff (Karen) Phillips, Stacy Phillips (Van Lewis), and Dean (Kristin) Phillips; her grandchildren Morgan (Tim) Phillips, Sydney Phillips, Danielle (Mikhail) Clark, John (Vanessa) Phillips, and Parker Phillips; and her three great grandchildren. DeeAnn was preceded in death by her siblings Rene Hamblin, Douglas Raymond, and Faye Tuttle, and her granddaughter Shelby Phillips. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her strength, humor, generosity, and the joy she brought to those around her. At her request, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). In her spirit, we invite you to carry forward a simple act of kindness.
