For the first time in Royal Palm Players’ 25-year history, an extra matinee has been added to the musical next weekend. Performances on March 12 – 15 now include a matinee and an evening show on Sunday, the 15th.
RPP is pleased to announce that public demand has been overwhelming for their big fully-produced musical. Dan Headington, president, said, “Every performance was sold-out weeks ago, and we kept hearing how disappointed people were when they couldn’t get tickets. So the cast and the RPP Board unanimously decided to add an extra matinee on Sunday, March 15 at 1 p.m. Since the 5 p.m. show is going on, as scheduled, the cast and crew are going to have double the reason to celebrate and double the exhaustion at the cast party later that night.”
This is good news for over 100 Boca Grande residents who were already on the wait list for tickets and thought they would not see this wonderful production. Anyone interested should call Kathy at 941-964-2670, immediately. Or visit the RPP office at the Boca Grande Community Center. Tickets are $35 per person. There are no reserved seats, unless you are a show’s sponsor. Please get to the theater at least 30 minutes before the curtain rises.
The cast stars Kimberly Whipple, Ross Witchonke, Bob Young, Erica Ress Martin, Jeff Lehrian, Jim Grant, Alice Court, Dan Headington and Elaine Skypala. They are backed by a talented group of singers and dancers that you know and love. With live music and songs you will never forget, this is one show you definitely want to see.
If you were not able to get tickets for RPP’s “Oklahoma!” before, here’s your chance. Call the box office at 964-2670.
