BY JACK SHORT - Local insurance agent Nat Italiano held a flood insurance seminar on Thursday, Oct. 7, and the Boca Grande Community Center Auditorium was packed with people and questions.
The Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act was the topic of the day, and the crowd soaked up information and advice from David Thompson, CPCU, as well as Italiano.
The lesson they wanted to drive home? Prepare for possible changes, and get an elevation certificate.
