The gill net ban debate was dredged up again in mid-October, when a circuit judge from Florida’s second judicial district, Jackie Fulford, ruled in favor of Wakulla Commercial Fishermen’s Association, Inc., and against the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Music at St. Andrew’s will present pianist Joe Holt in concert Tuesday, Nov. 12, 8 p.m. in the church. This will also be the dedication of St. Andrew’s new Steinway “A” grand piano.
The Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center and the Literature Forum will present their newest installment in the series, featuring author Sebastian Barry and his book, “A Long, Long Way.”
