Obituary: Betty Sherwin

Betty Barr Sherwin, a popular Winter resident of Boca Grande, died on December 12, 2012 in Port Charlotte.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Perkins Sherwin. She is survived by sons Sydney Thayer IV and Meade Barr Thayer; daughter, Casey Sherwin Hamblett; and her 5 grandchildren, Sam and Brooke Thayer and Rob, Blake and Mac Hamblett, all who adored her.

Her Funeral Service was held on Thursday, Dec. 20, in Bryn Mawr, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either the Boca Grande Health Clinic or the Suncoast Humane Society in Englewood.
