Jerome R. Flynn, 93, of Hudson, Ohio and Boca Grande died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.
He was born to Richard and Lavinia Flynn in 1919 and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Aquinas High School and Ohio State University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Jerry was a veteran of World War II and served as a second lieutenant in the United States Navy. He was a naval pilot and flight instructor stationed in Pensacola and San Diego, CA.
Jerry was a sales executive in the coal industry and president of Center Ridge Coal Corp. He was an avid golfer and charter member of the Country Club of Hudson.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret (Marge) Loviner Flynn; his children, Molly (Michael) Thompson, Jerome R.Flynn Jr., Mark (Judy Reynolds) Flynn, Ann Flynn, Michael Flynn and K.C. (Karen) Flynn; his grandchildren, Colter and Sophia Flynn; and his sister, Patricia Hilkemeyer.
