To the Editor:

Without a doubt there is a parking issue going on here in downtown Boca Grande. The problem arising, yet again, on Gilcrest Avenue is just the tip of the iceberg. Something should really be done to counteract this civil disagreement.

To the Editor:

When I came here in 1980 Gilchrist Avenue was a well-kept median. No one parked there.

As more people came to live in Boca Grande, so did more cars.

I would like to express my agreement with Mr. Hammond’s letter to the Beacon concerning Gilchrist Avenue. I am not a Gilchrist resident.

Letter to the Editor: Gilchrist resident speaks out about parking

To the Editor:

When I first visited my great-uncle and aunt Crowninshield as a child, Gilchirst Avenue was the beautiful center of the town of Boca Grande. My family have been residents here for three generations, so memories go back to the pre-bridge and therefore pre-car and parking years.
