Letter to the Editor: The Island School popping tabs for a good cause

To the Editor:

The Island School PTO is collecting pop tabs from aluminum soda cans for the Ronald McDonald House Charities organization.

You can help a very worthwhile charity designed to provide housing for families to stay near their hospitalized children. The organization sells the tabs to a recycling center.

If you can, when you drink a soda just stick that tab in your pocket, then dump them in a cup or jar at home. When you fill it up, please bring them to The Island School.

Please, help us help kids in need, as well as their families.
