All I want for Christmas is to rid the world of cancer. I don’t want see any of my family or friends suffer from this terrible disease. I don’t want to watch anybody anywhere grieve over a lost one.
This terrible monster has affected many of my friends and family. I know even you Santa have watched and witnessed the pain and suffering and the terrible impact it has had on families as they had a loved one suffer and pass as a result of cancer.
Boca Grande is gearing up for its annual American Cancer Society “Relay for Life.” You may have notice that the cookouts and bake sales have started at Hudson’s Grocery. This year there will be parties and many other events leading up to our Relay on April 27. So stay tuned for more info as we get closer to the date.
You can visit relayforlife.org on the web and search for me, or stop by Italiano Insurance Services to make a tax-free donation. You will be helping a loved one, a friend or family member.
So Santa, when you visit my house on Christmas Eve, please leave joy and happiness and the hope that someday there will be a cure for cancer.
Sincerely,
Nat Italiano
Boca Grande
