Dear Editor,
This is in reference to the article that was published in the November 2, 2012 Boca Beacon paper.
My husband, Bobby W. Hill, was the person being referred to as one of the “Ambulance responds to calls at bars” in the article that was published in this week’s paper. I want you to know that I do not appreciate that article at all. We had just traveled 10 hours from our home in South Carolina.
We were at our Boca Grande home, 340 Park Avenue, when he suffered a severe stroke and was respectfully and quickly attended by the Boca Grande EMS, and by no means was he or no member of our family at The Temptation Bar as your paper stated.
Bobby was a well-respected man here in Boca Grande and was in his personal residence when this tragedy occurred, and I would like for this to be clarified.
Thank you.
Betty Hill
