The Boca Grande Health Clinic Foundation will host a coffee/pastry reception on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the Banyan Room at The Gasparilla Inn & Club to introduce some of the key management of the Healthnetwork Foundation. They will make a short presentation to their members and to members of the community at large on their mission, and give a brief history of their relationship and experience with the Clinic Foundation and its membership over the past 11 years.
Healthnetwork is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Foundation engaged in patient support and advocacy issues on behalf of their members. Specifically, their mission is to improve medicine and treatment for all by connecting its members with leading hospitals and medical professionals thereby providing access to world-class medical care and to increase philanthropic funding at its partner hospitals throughout the United States. They are celebrating their 27th year of operation in 2018.
Healthnetwork, working with the Clinic Foundation, has reached out to more than 300 members in our community over the past 11 years. Membership is offered to all supporters at the Founding Member level and above at no additional cost to the donor. Services range from physician and hospital referral at select institutions with rapid, high-touch advocacy every step of the way to second opinions to access to health education events and personalized medical research.
A large number of Boca Grande residents who have given generously over the years in support of the Clinic Foundation have personally benefitted through usage of Health Network’s services, which all begin with one phone call.
This presentation is open to all members of the community and you can reserve your attendance beforehand by calling Mary Anne Hastings at the Clinic Foundation at 964-0099.
