Sarah S. Farish, chairman of The Gasparilla Inn & Club, made the announcement official this week.
“As the Inn celebrates its centennial season, the Farish family looks forward to Jon and his team continuing to provide a pleasurable and memorable experience for its guests and members,” she said in a press release.
Reecher has served as the director of food and beverage at the Inn since May, 2008. He has a background that includes graduation with honors from the International Culinary and Hospitality Program at The Cordon Bleu in London and Paris, and several senior positions over a 10-year period at the Greenbrier, White Sulphur Springs, W.V.

Reecher said he is very pleased with his new position.
“I’m excited for the opportunity, and have always been honored to be part of the Inn,” he said. “I am really looking forward to the future.”
